Our massage therapist, Beck Burling, loves working with her clients on an individual level, appreciating that there is never a one-size-fits-all approach — each person is unique, with their own story, needs and treatment responses.

Beck has been working in health and fitness for over 10 years and is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Exercise Specialist.

Beck is passionate about helping her clients improve their quality of life by combining hands-on treatment and appropriate exercise prescription to reduce pain and improve musculoskeletal and biomechanical function. Beck believes strongly in educating and empowering her clients to gain a better understanding of their body and to have the confidence to make informed choices for their health and wellbeing.

Beck has a special interest in working with clients during and beyond pregnancy, and is a registered NurtureLife® Pregnancy Massage Practitioner, a certified pre and postnatal exercise trainer, and a pre and postnatal Yoga and Pilates instructor.

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc) and biomechanical dysfunctions, where symptoms may include pain, restricted movement and loss of function.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage Therapy is gentle, nurturing and specialised treatment to support the pregnant woman throughout her pregnancy, birth and beyond, by helping her through the physical, emotional and biological changes experienced during this time, using specifically designed treatment techniques. It is safe to enjoy throughout your entire pregnancy, including from the 1st trimester. Massage during this time can be particularly beneficial to support you through the many physiological changes that occur.

Postnatal Massage

Postnatal Massage Therapy is gentle, nurturing and specialised treatment to support mums following the birth of their baby, by helping them to recover from their labour and birth, as well as adjust to the new physical demands and emotions of having a newborn baby. This treatment is usually considered to fall in the Fourth Trimester (the first three months after giving birth) which is a time of many physical, physiological, hormonal and emotional changes for mothers. Postnatal massage can also include abdominal massage and caesarean scar healing massage (once the skin has healed). Please note that medical clearance is required prior to C-section scar massage.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage is a generalised whole-body treatment using Swedish massage techniques. Contrary to common misconceptions that Relaxation Massage only uses light, superficial techniques, it can be performed using light to firm pressure, depending on the stroke technique and your preference.
